It’s the age-old story of a man walking into a bank with a gun, but in this case, it had a different ending than usual. The man entered a Wells Fargo in Jacksonville Friday afternoon, walked up to a teller with a gun, and demanded money.
The teller didn’t give him any money because she didn’t believe the gun was real. When she told the would-be robber she didn’t believe the gun he was holding was actually a gun, he turned and walked out . . . right into the presence of an off-duty Florida Highway Patrolman who was working at the bank. There were no other customers there at the time, the unnamed suspect was taken to jail, and hopefully, the teller will receive the “That Took A Lot Of Nerve” award from the bank.
