Bangladeshi student in Malaysia escapes death sentence over possessing 3.8kg cannabis

A 26-year-old Bangladeshi engineering student from a private university escaped the gallows after a Malaysian Court of Appeal set aside his conviction and death sentence for trafficking 3,875.66g of cannabis into the country four years ago.
