Bangladesh to observe first National Tea Day on June 4

Bangladesh will observe National Tea Day on June 4 for the first time in the 50 years history of the country. This decision was taken at a cabinet meeting on July 20 to commemorate the outstanding contribution of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to the tea industry on his birth centenary, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi said today.
