Bangladesh Film Censor Board bans Anonno Mamun's film ‘Makeup’

"Makeup", a film directed by Anonno Mamun with Tariq Anam Khan, Ziaul Roshan and Nipa Ahmed Real in prominent roles, was previewed by the Bangladesh Film Censor Board recently. Subsequently, the board members decided to ban the film.
Khorshed Alam Khosru, President of Bangladesh Film Producers' Association confirmed the news to
The Daily Star. "We made this decision after watching the film. It is yet to be approved by our chairman and the ministry," he said. "However, we found the content offensive. The movie portrays the film industry in a negative light."
