There weren't enough EMS units to send to a quadruple shooting in Carroll Park over the weekend, according to the Baltimore City Fire Union.
However, the city fire department said things are not quite what they seem.
"As one of the busiest EMS systems per capita, our members handled this incident extremely well," said Baltimore City fire Chief Niles Ford said.
"Immediately, two units were dispatched at 8:12 p.m. -- that is less than one minute," Ford said.
His comments come a day after the fire union tweeted a portion of the audio from the dispatch call.
