Balfour Beatty, Morgan Sindall and Murphy big winners on £1.5bn National Grid framework
Balfour Beatty, Morgan Sindall and Murphy have won multiple lots on National Grid’s £1.5bn RIIO-2 electricity transmission construction framework.
They are among nine contractors to have won places on the framework.
The three lots in the five-year framework cover construction, refurbishment and decommissioning of both overhead line and underground cable systems and substations.
Balfour Beatty has secured places on all three lots, while Morgan Sindall and Murphy have won spots on two.
Morgan Sindall Infrastructure managing director Simon Smith said: “We are extremely pleased to have secured a position on this framework.
