BALDWINVILLE — A local food favorite has closed its doors after more than three decades of serving the community.
The owners of the Baldwinville Pizza Barn and Seafood Family Restaurant, Bill and Freda Grammenos, have retired and closed the establishment that first opened in 1987. The restaurant’s last day of operations was Jan. 31.
Bill said the decision was not an easy one for the couple to make because they felt the community had become something of an extended family over the years, but he said it was finally time to say farewell to the customers that had remained so loyal for so long.
