Balasingam Muhunthan Memorial July 8 | WSU Insider | Washington State University

A memorial service for Balasingam Muhunthan will take place on Thursday, July 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center on 405 SE Spokane Street. The service will also be livestreamed via YouTube. The Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center parking lot will be free of charge for attendees during the event.
A valued member of WSU’s Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture since 1991, professor Muhunthan passed away June 17.
Muhunthan most recently served as chair of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, one of the Washington State University’s largest and most research-active academic departments.
