Badger Air Community Council establishes fund to benefit family of Air Force Captain who died in F-16 crash

MADISON, Wis. — The Badger Air Community Council is remembering Air Force Capt. Durwood “Hawk” Jones, who died on Thursday after the F-16 jet that he was flying crashed Tuesday night in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Since his death, there has been an outpouring of support for the 115th Fighter Wing and Wisconsin National Guard.
The Badger Air Community Council (BACC) wants to extend its deepest condolences to the family of Air Force Capt. Durwood…
The BACC established a fund to benefit the family. Donations can be made online or mailed and made out to Badger Air Community Council, P.O. Box 192, Madison, WI, 53701, with “Jones Family” in the memo.
