An Aylmer church pastor has been charged for a second time under Ontario’s emergency COVID-19 law after police officers serving a summons to the church leader were met by a large, singing crowd.
But the pastor says the gathering was meant to show police a church is made of people.

Aylmer police contacted Church of God Pastor Henry Hildebrandt Jan. 6 to serve him a summons for a charge laid against the church for hosting an outdoor gathering that exceeded the permitted number of people on Dec. 27.
