In a remarkable turn of events, as the much-anticipated consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya draws near on January 22, the village of Bisrakh in Greater Noida, renowned for its unique reverence to Ravan, is set to welcome Lord Ram for the very first time. The Prachin Shiv Temple in Bisrakh village is set to consecrate a Ram Darbar idol, featuring Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman, on Monday. The ceremony will involve 11 priests conducting rituals, accompanied by a procession with bhajans and recitals. Bisrakh, known for not celebrating Dussehra out of respect for Ravan, considers the demon king as their ancestor.
