A major fire in Yonkers injured several people and displaced dozens of residents on Sunday.
Deputy Chief Joseph Citrone, of the Yonkers Fire Department, says four buildings on Maple Street were damaged and about 32 families were displaced.
He says it started as a four-alarm fire but quickly escalated to a general alarm.
Citrone says every department in the city responded to the scene, along with crews from New Rochelle and Greenville.
Officials say one resident and at least 13 firefighters were injured.
