Australian CHOICE dishwashing liquid ranked from best to worst - with Aldi taking out the top spot

A $1.59 bottle of dishwashing detergent from Aldi has been crowned the best on the market after consumer experts put popular brands to the test.
Australian experts from CHOICE trialled 38 dishwashing liquids from supermarket brands such as Aldi, Finish, Palmolive, Fairy, Morning Fresh, Coles and Woolworths.
The products were rated based on value for money and cleaning performance against identically pre-soiled plates, stained with different foods, including rice starch, bolognese and egg yolk.
And Aldi's Tandil Ultra Power Soak n' Clean Concentrate dishwashing liquid and Morning Fresh Ultra Concentrate Ultimate Lemon ($3.25) tied for first place.
The two products conquered the kitchen with the highest score of 90 per cent - but both brands came with a huge price difference - proving you don't need to spend more money to get the best results.
