Australia Day tragedy as a man's body is pulled from a popular swimming spot

The body of a 35-year-old man has been found in a popular swimming spot in the latest of a string of tragic drowning incidents this summer. 
The man was found on Tuesday after getting in the water at Thompsons Beach in the Murray River in Victoria.
He was declared dead after the Victorian Police Dive Unit found him at around 8.40pm on Tuesday night.
