Austin American-Statesman Letters to the editor: February 1, 2021

Re: Jan. 21 article, "'Democracy has prevailed.'"
I refer to the headline, "'Democracy has prevailed'" and the picture of Joe Biden being sworn in which are featured in the Austin American-Statesman of Jan. 21. 
I agree with this, and might add that democracy has prevailed ever since our founding.  It's nothing new. Another profound headline might read, "The sun rose this morning." 
Few would disagree with this headline and most would agree that this has gone on for a long time. But, as I am a steady reader of the Austin American-Statesman I suspect that, by their headline, the Statesman is ballyhooing the inauguration of President Biden.
