Aucklander completes gruelling swim across Foveaux Strait

Her mother, Courtney O’Reilly, said: “I couldn’t be more proud of her.
“She has achieved what she wanted to achieve.”
Courtney travelled by ferry to Bluff after watching Caitlin begin the swim and then based herself in a van on the top of Bluff Hill for text and photo updates from husband Mike, who was aboard a support boat.
