Arrest warrants have been issued for a gang member identified as the 'person of interest' in a shooting at a luxury hotel in Auckland's Viaduct Harbour last week.
The Armed Offenders Squad was called to the Sofitel on the waterfront just after 9am last Thursday, following reports a firearm had been discharged. No one was injured in the incident.
Police investigating the incident say patched Head Hunters member Hone Reihana, 27, is now wanted in relation to firearms and other offences, and "numerous" warrants have been issued for his arrest.
