ROYALSTON — Several members of the South Village Revitalization Committee told Royalston’s Selectboard last week that they are very concerned about the future of Whitney Hall. The building originally served as the South Royalston School.
Whitney Hall is currently home to Royalston’s municipal offices. However, those offices are due — at some future date — to move to the former Raymond School near Royalston Center. Thus, the imposing building which has overlooked the South Village since 1905 will be left vacant.
