Athens City Council moves forward with COG establishment

Athens City Council met Monday evening to discuss the establishment of the Southeast Ohio Recycling Terminal, or SORT, Council of Governments, or COG. To maintain its operations, AHRC suggested that Athens join the Southeast Ohio Area Resources Council of Governments and enter into a contract with AHRC.
