At least 64 Americans are now infected with 'super-covid,' according to a DailyMail.com tally. 
Connecticut is the latest struck by the more infectious UK variant with one case in a person who recently traveled to Ireland and another who traveled to New York testing positive. Both people are between 15 and 25 and live in New Haven County. 
Texas and Pennsylvania also each reported one first cases on Thursday, while a new federal CDC dashboard shows that Florida's cases of the highly contagious UK variant have exploded to 22.
