Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 8) — At least 15 people were injured after a 6.1 magnitude quake hit Davao del Sur on Sunday, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management said.
In its Monday report, the NDRRMC said those hurt were from Cotabato Province, which felt up to Intensity 5 of the quake over the weekend. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology rated this intensity as "strong."
Eight landslides were reported in two municipalities of Cotabato Province -- seven in Makilala and one in M'lang.
No other details were provided on the identities and specific location of the casualties.
