Astronomers image the Milky Way's Supermassive Black Hole for the first time

Images from the Event Horizon Telescope prove that the compact radio source at the heart of the Milky Way, Sagittarius A*, is indeed a black hole. Astronomers have taken the first direct image of Sattigarius A*the black hole at the heart of our galaxy using the Event Horizon Telescope.
