(Bloomberg) -- The European Medicines Agency plans to give its assessment of the safety of AstraZeneca Plc’s Covid-19 vaccine after investigating cases of a rare blood-clotting disorder in adults who received the shot. A study of the vaccine in children has been paused.
The U.K. began rolling out Moderna Inc.’s vaccine, bolstering Britain’s immunization program amid concerns over the Astra shot and a shortfall of doses this month. A study found that antibodies persist for at least six months after patients receive the second dose of Moderna’s vaccine.
