Assisted living center in Westford receives COVID-19 vaccines

Bridges by EPOCH at Westford memory care assisted living residents and team members recently received their first round of COVID-19 vaccinations at the end of January, and first up was Hartwig “Dr. Hart” Achenbach — who at the time was just weeks away from his 100th birthday.
“Dr. Hart spent much of his career providing medical care to the world’s most vulnerable,” said Abbi Laushine, life enrichment director at Bridges by EPOCH at Westford. “It seemed fitting that he be first in line at our COVID vaccination clinic. In Dr. Hart’s words, ‘we did it!”
