LAPEER, MI -- An aspiring 23-year-old firefighter who died in a crash this week is being remembered as a man who wanted to help people.
Stephen Collins-Krug died unexpectedly in a car crash shortly after noon Tuesday, April 13, at the intersection of Peppermill and Wilder roads in Lapeer Township.
