Aspiring Artists 2022 opens Friday, February 25, 2022<br/><br/>The Freeport Art Museum is pleased to announce the Aspiring Artists Exhibition, which features over 450 artworks created by local students. Opening Friday, February 25, and closing on April 16, the exhibition showcases the talent and creativity of students in regional elementary, middle, and high schools. <br/><br/>The reception will be held Friday, February 25, from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Please adhere to the time slots for each grade level. (below) <br/>OPENING RECEPTION: Grade levels/hour to view the exhibition <br/>K - 4 (4:30 pm – 5:30 pm) <br/>5 - 8 (5:30 pm – 6:30 pm) <br/>9 - 12 (6:00 pm– 7:00 pm) <br/>Awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place, and Honorable Mention in each age group are sponsored by Blick Art Materials and posted on the wall next to the artwork. The exhibition is sponsored by FHN. <br/>Those who have children in multiple grade levels may choose which time slot they will attend.
