Asian Art museum reopens with new exhibits
FAIRFIELD — The Asian Art Museum has reopened its doors, with many safeguards in place.
Capacity will be reduced to allow for physical distancing. Admission is free the first Sunday of each month.
New exhibits on view include:
• “After Hope: Videos of Resistance”: An eclectic selection of more than 50 short videos that explores the role of hope in contemporary art and activism.
• “Zheng Chongbin: I Look for the Sky”: The Bay Area artist has created a site-specific installation with transparency and light to explore ephemeral changes that can alter the perception of place.
The Museum From Home offerings will continue, such as “All Animal Crossing” where fans can incorporate artworks into an online island getaway.
