Asian-American restaurant owners are standing together in support of a new community initiative that was created following a disturbing surge in hate crimes and racism against Asian-Americans.
The initiative, previously reported on by
Food & Wine, is called #EnoughIsEnough. It's a collective of more than a dozen Asian-American business owners in New York City with the aim of promoting cross-cultural community building, empowering people from all communities to speak out for what is right, as well as to"spread warmth and joy in the spirit of Lunar New Year, all while raising awareness about the recent surge in hate crimes against Asian elders and Asian Americans."
