KOTA KINABALU: Memories of the times sitting on her grandmother’s tikar (woven mat) are among the things that inspired artist Yee I-Lann to come up with an art exhibition called Borneo Heart.
To be launched on Saturday evening (May 1) and open to the public from May 2, the month-long exhibition at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) here will showcase the works of the Kota Kinabalu-born artist in collaboration with weavers, filmmakers, dancers and other creative talents.
