Every so often thereâs a television show thatâs worthy of âbinge-watching.â I felt HBOâs âThe Undoingâ was one. Starring Hugh Grant and Nicole Kidman, itâs a diabolical story of a New York City murder that unravels the marriage of a wealthy couple. It was adapted from Jean Hanff Korelitzâs novel âYou Should Have Known.â I hated to see that series end, but, fortunately, Korelitz has a new book out titled âThe Plotâ (Celadon Books), which is as readable as âThe Undoingâ was watchable. A twisty tale of literary paranoia, in âThe Plotâ the author turns her writerâs eye on writers themselves and produces a witty thriller nightmare.
