Spring is my favorite time of year. The flowers are blooming everywhere. The colors are like the rainbow — pink, blue and yellow. All the colors to lift your spirit and wipe away all of your troubles.
Of course, we miss the dazzle of the drifting snow banks, but unfortunately the melting snow leaves us with the dazzle of the ditch. That's the bright shiny stuff that catches our eye as we drive along, but that's the stuff that should not be there. You know what I mean. That's the garbage that flies out of car windows from hands that don’t remember that their junk should wait until the auto arrives home so they can put that stuff in the proper garbage container. Water bottles, beer cans, soda cans, paper cups, paper plates and all kinds of carry-out junk.
