Army Rescue Ops On To Save Kidnapped ONGC Staff

The Indian Army and Assam Rifles troops have rescued two ONGC employees who had been kidnapped by the outlawed group, United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) in Assam on Friday. 
"Operations are still in progress," stated the Indian Army.
 As per details, Mohini Moham Gogoi (35), Ritul Saikia (33) who worked as junior technicians and Alakesh Saikia (28), a junior Engineering Assistant, were kidnapped on April 21 from Lakwa oil field in Assam's Sivasagar district, near the Assam-Nagaland border, by alleged ULFA-I militants. Employees were kidnapped in the company's own vehicle from the state-run firm's Lakwa field in Sivasagar
