Army recruitment scam: PTI quoted officials saying that Lt Col MCSNA Bhagwan of the Army Air Defence Corps is the alleged mastermind of the recruitment racket.

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, five Lt Colonel-ranked officers, a Major and a Lieutenant and others were booked by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for alleged corruption in recruitment in the Indian Army through Service Selection Board (SSB) centres.
The CBI has registered a case on a complaint from office of Additional Directorate General, Discipline & Vigilance, Adjutant General’s Branch, Integrated HQ of Ministry of Defence (Army), DHQ PO, New Delhi against 17 Army officials including Lt. Col., Major, Naib Subedar, Sepoy etc.; 6 private persons & others on the allegations pertaining to bribery and irregularities in recruitment of officers and other ranks through Service Selection Board (SSB), the probe agency said.
