Gun-wielding herdsmen who laid an ambush on the busy Makurdi-Lafia road around Ortese in the Guma Local Government Area of Benue State have killed three travellers and injured several others in an attack on Friday. This is coming about a week after the armed herders also ambushed and killed three Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, who went fishing in Gwer West LGA area of the state.
