Armed cop who crashed while racing at 80mph to Streatham terror attack scene could still be sacked after being cleared of dangerous driving - as Met Police chief slams his prosecution

The PC was today cleared by a jury of the charge at Southwark Crown Court but may still face a hearing for gross incompetence, a spokesperson for the police watchdog, the IOPC, told the Guardian.
