ARLINGTON, VA — On May 11, Chief Robert J. Contee III of the Metropolitan Police Department presented a Ribbon of Valor to MPD officers and members of outside law enforcement agencies who assisted in the response to the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, according to an MPD spokeswoman.
