Arkansas legislators discussed the controversial 2021 legislative session on Tuesday during a town hall discussion with KATV.
State Sen. Joyce Elliott, D-Little Rock, called it “unusual” as the 93rd general assembly was filled with culture-war politics. But Gov. Asa Hutchinson said the state is in a better position after the session.
There were 1,100 laws enacted since the assembly convened on Jan. 11. Four elected officials — state Sen. Joyce Elliott, D-Little Rock; state Sen. Jonathan Dismang, R-Beebe; state Sen. Kim Hammer, R-Benton, and state Rep. Ashley Hudson, D-Little Rock — sat down with Talk Business & Politics' Roby Brock and KATV's Chris May to discuss some of the biggest issues lawmakers tackled.
