Area theaters in Red Hook, Hyde Park host free movies, food drive

RED HOOK, N.Y. — Area theaters are hosting free movies for the holidays.
Lyceum Cinemas will host free Christmas movies for children and their families on Saturday, Dec. 19, in conjunction with a food drive to aid needy families.
Now in the 25th year of hosting this annual event, the Lyceum has once again decided to offer two films for attendees to choose from, “The Polar Express” and “The Grinch who stole Christmas”, both rated PG.

Both films will be offered at 10 a.m. am on Dec. 19 and upon entry, people will choose which film they prefer to see.
