A graphic widely shared in South Africa appears to lay bare in stark numbers the agony of high unemployment in the country. The graphic, posted in June 2021 on Facebook, makes the claim that black unemployment was at least 10 times more in 2020 than in 1994, when the ruling African National Congress (ANC) came to power.
