The Noale-based manufacturer first teased the bike at EICMA 2019
The Tuareg is based on the same 660cc parallel-twin platform as the Tuono and RS 660.
The half-faired bike features a short windscreen, projector headlamp, and a full-digital console.
Hardware includes long-travel suspension, laced wheels, and an upswept exhaust.
Expect to see the production model by early-2022.
Travel back to EICMA 2019 and you’d remember Aprilia teasing its mid-displacement ADV veiled with bushes, shrubs, and all sorts of foliage. That was the Tuono 660 concept -- a bike pegged to carry on Aprilia’s adventure touring legacy in a new avatar. Having said that, we knew very little about the Tuareg 660 apart from the fact that it would be based on the same 660cc platform as the Tuono and RS 660.
