Apple’s new 12.9-inch iPad Pro is not compatible with the old Magic Keyboard
A few days ago, Apple officially released the iPad Pro which comes with the Mi chip. The screen size of this tablet is 12.9/11 inches. Of these, the 12.9-inch version uses mini-LED technology with a resolution of 2732 x 2048. The starting price of this device is 8499 yuan ($1308). According to reports, the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro does not support the old Magic Keyboard. This is because the thickness of the new product is higher by 0.5mm. Thus, the old keyboard will not close completely after installation. However, the new 11-inch iPad Pro 2021 is compatible with the previous generation Magic Keyboard.
