Apple, fruit growers of Himachal gear up for statewide protest on March 15

The agitation against the Centre’s three farm laws has finally found an echo in the BJP-ruled hill state with farmers and fruit growers of Himachal Pradesh finding a common cause and deciding to hold a state-wide demonstration on March 15.
Thirteen farmers and orchardists’ organisations of Shimla, Kullu, Kinnaur, Sirmaur and Mandi met in the state capital on Tuesday and decided to form a joint forum, including associations of milk producers, vegetable and flower growers.
