Apex Dermatology Freedom 5K The Apex Dermatology Towpath Freedom 5k serves to commemorate the completion of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail within Summit County, as well as honor our United States veterans for their service. This event, which takes place at Summit Lake this year, raises funds for the continued development and enhancement of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, Connector Trails, and National Heritage Area. Participants of all ages begin the run around Summit Lake, showcasing the unique urban pathway of the trail in Akron. The first 35 veterans receive free registration!
