May 07 : Anupam Kher bagged the Best Actor award for his short film Happy Birthday at the New York City International Film Festival. The film also won the Best Short Film award at the international film festival. Helmed by Prasad Kadam and produced by FNP Media, Happy Birthday stars Anupam Kher and Aahana Kumra. 
Showing his gratitude for winning the award, the Hotel Mumbai actor said in a statement, "Thank you New York City International Film Festival (NYCIFF) for this great honour. It's humbling to be declared the Best Actor in this prestigious film festival. The credit goes to the whole young team of 'Happy Birthday' and my co-actor Aahana Kumra, thanks to the director Prasad Kadam, and rest of the team."
