Thunderstorms that pounded the San Antonio area overnight are likely to linger into the weekend, though with less intensity. 
Scattered thunderstorms and showers are possible through most of Thursday and into Friday, according to the National Weather Service. Stormy weather is also likely for Saturday and will begin to dissipate Sunday morning, the NWS said.
