Another new virus variant found in Japan

The latest new mutation of coronavirus was discovered in four Japanese travelers from Amazonas State of Brazil, said Japan’s Health Minster.
A ministry official said this variant of the virus differs from the viruses found in the UK and South Africa that led to surge in cases.
Takaji Wakita, head of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases stated in a media briefing, “At the moment, there is no proof showing the new variant found in those from Brazil is high in infectiousness.”
