Anoka grower wins world record (again) with a 2,749-pound pumpkin in California contest

Minnesota horticulture teacher Travis Gienger won the 50th World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off in Half Moon Bay, Calif., with an enormous, lumpy, orange pumpkin that could produce at least 687 pies.
