ANN ARBOR, MI - Kevin Leeser of Ann Arbor dedicated his 2020 to helping protect the community from COVID-19.
Since April, his “Operation Face Shield” initiative produced more than 50,000 face shields to help limit the spread of the disease.
Before the calendar turns to 2021, he is making one last push; this time for a Native American community more than a thousand miles from Ann Arbor. He will ship off tomorrow morning to deliver PPE and cleaning supplies to the Lakota reservations in South Dakota, and he wants to get the word out for last-minute donations.
