Anchorsong returns with new single 'Tunis Dream'.
The Tokyo born, UK rooted musician is busy celebrating a decade on the always-fantastic Brighton imprint Tru Thoughts, and is prepping new material for 2021.
Out now, 'Tunis Dream' has a haunting, North African feel, with its atmosphere swooping over you in layers of luxurious sound.
The flute trills hold a jazz element, while the infectious beats capture the subtle heat of a late summer evening.
The producer comments...
“I was invited to play at a nightclub in Tunis last summer. It was a very hot day, and everyone was chilling on the beach by the venue. There was a certain scent in the air, and I sensed something nostalgic with it. I recalled that night when writing this track.”
