Dialogue on an equal footing enables young people to engage more actively in the processes of sustainable development, Anatoly Isachenko, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus and National Coordinator for the SDGs, told the media at a presentation meeting with students of the Skorina Gomel State University, BelTA has learned.
Anatoly Isachenko is sure that the involvement of young people in the promotion of sustainable development goals is necessary for the progressive development of Belarus. “Dialogue on an equal footing and regular meetings of SDG youth ambassadors within the framework of the Sustainable Development - the Future of the Planet is in Our Hands project helps young people be more actively involved in the processes of sustainable development. It is important for us to preserve and multiply for our contemporaries and future generations the high living standards, economy, development of personal potential, which have been formed over the past 25 years,” the vice-speaker of the Council of the Republic said.
